Help and support - Support Home page

The Support Home page brings together details about your system information as well as your Sage software.

Should you need to contact our support team you will be asked to refer to this information to help them resolve your query.

You may find the need to use the following options:

Remote Support

Depending on the nature of query and the level of support contract you have with us, we may use remote support. This provides access to your PC so that a technician can walk you through what needs to be done and answer your queries quickly and easily.

Send to Sage

Useful if you are asked to forward your details to one of our technicians to help them resolve your support call.

This generates a snapshot of the information displayed on the Support Home page and attaches it to an email, ready to send to us at Sage. Sensitive information that would identify your computer or network is not included.

Send to Sage works with MAPI (Messaging Application Programming Interface) email applications, such as Microsoft Outlook.

Save File

If you prefer to save the information to a specific location or to a data key, then select this option. Once the information is saved, the file can then be attached to an email in the usual way.

Print

Generate a hard copy of the information displayed in the Support Home page.

Refresh

The information displayed is up-to-date at the time you open the Support Home page .

You may find it useful to Refresh the page to pick up changes as a result of working with one of our technicians, or if the page has been displayed for any length of time.
